Dear Doctors Rivas, Lara and Garcia,
I returned home to Connecticut tonight after receiving heart cath treatment at St. Luke's in Houston. As Dr. Rivas' friend at Baylor Medical (who was kind to stop by to visit me) may have already reported, I had 80% narrowing of the LAD and a stent was inserted by Dr. Neil Strickman. Dr. Strickman plans to write to you also.
I can't thank you enough for the care you gave me last Tuesday, which was truly life-saving. I shudder to think where I would have been had Blue Medical and Dr. Lara not been only 10 minutes away from Punta Ballena at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. I feel very lucky and blessed to have had such professional care available to me.
I want to return to Punta Ballena in the next year or two to enjoy the Los Cabos vacation that I missed out on last week, and I hope I will be able to see you all again to thank you personally for saving me.

I was a patient of yours back on the 23rd October 2010.
I came in with a bowel infection and you and your staff attended to me with the utmost care and diligence.
I would like to convey my sincere appreciation and gratitude for your medical assistance to me.
I was on my honeymoon and unfortunately contracted salmonella.
I was in the blue medical net overnight and I am so thankful for the way you treated me and my husband. You assured us and kept us up to date every step of the way. Within hours I was back to my normal self.
You and your staff were so polite and professional, I didn’t even feel like I was in a hospital. You even drove me from my hotel to the hospital and then back to our hotel. We are even so appreciative that you managed to change our flight times without incurring any extra costs to us as well. Thank you for accepting our medical insurance, we did not even have to pay for anything as you accepted the insurance and processed it quite efficiently.

Dear Dr. Gaxiola Leyva,
You treated me at the Melia Hotel on February 27th after I fell while running on the frontage road that morning. You put 7 stitches in my right eyebrow and gave me medicine and good advice. I would like to thank you for your great care of my injuries. My plastic surgeon took the stitches out last Thursday and the wound looks very good. X rays were taken and since I have not received a telephone call I am assuming that while injured, I will heal.

Dear Blue Medical Net Team,
I was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas this past November 2010 when I had to have emergency surgery to remove kidney stones which I was unaware that I had. Although I had the option of returning home to get the operation I decided to let Blue Medical Net Hospital perform the procedure. I was brought by ambulance to Blue Medical Net Hospital conveniently located on the tourist corridor at Plaza del Rey. I received exceptional treatment from the entire staff specifically Dr. Juan Jose Chavez Rodriguez, Fausto Miguel Lechuga Ortiz M.D., and Dr. Martin Alcazar who performed the surgery. I was given a beautiful private room with attached bathroom including a shower. The room was appropriately called the “Ocean” room which had a view of the Sea of Cortez and was appointed like a five star hotel. After being released from the hospital I received follow up phone calls at my hotel from the doctors and even had a nurse attend to some last minute prescription needs to ensure that my lengthy flight back to New York would be more comfortable. This was possible since Blue Medical Net had a permanent office right on the hotel property.
Special thanks to Mario Trejo Becerril, Manager of Patients Financial Services who expertly handled my insurance billing with my carrier, Aetna. He made sure I did not have to pay any out of pocket expenses. Blue Net Medical accepts and bills international insurance as long as the insurance sends a GOP guarantee of payment.
Overall, it was such a relief to be in such competent hands. When you travel outside of your native country is always a great concern that you could be in a situation such as mine. I truly believe I could not have received better care than if I was at home. Blue Net Medical Hospital is providing a high level of quality care which matches the high expectations for those traveling to this beautiful resort destination in Mexico.
